For the Saint-Jean Project, Hydro-Québec will build various layouts and landscaping projects.
- The pylons for the new 315 kV line will be different from those used for the 120 kV line.
- As recommended by the Liaison Committee for the 3145 kV line, reduced-width lattice towers will be built. The porosity of the structure reduces the visual range and allows light to pass through. This type of pylon provides visual consistency with 120 kV pylons located in the same right-of-way.
- The Saint-Jean substation will be expanded and laid out in a different way.
- Hydro-Québec plans landscape under the line in the hydroelectric corridor between the des Sources and Saint-Jean substations (approximately 3 km)
