Action Jeunesse de l’Ouest-de-l’Île (AJOI) and Ricochet (Hébergement / Homes) are proud to announce the extension of the activities of the Halte-Chaleur West Island and its name change to Halte-Transition, still located at 5100 avenue Château Pierrefonds in Pierrefonds-Roxboro. Thus, the Halte-Transition will continue to welcome people experiencing homelessness and residential instability from 7 p.m. until 8 a.m., 7 days a week, until June 30, 2021.

The Halte-Transition will continue to provide a welcoming place for beneficiaries to receive hot meals, drink, shower, rest, wash their clothes and warm up. A computer and the wireless Internet network are always available to users who wish to search for accommodation, employment or for any other suitable use. Halte-Transition remain a high threshold resource and continue to welcome pets. The shuttle service, which crisscrosses the West Island between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m., with the objective of transporting people who wish to come to the Halte-Transition, will also be maintained.
