On Tuesday, May 27, officers from Police Station 4 (SPVM) recognized Mr. André Lavigne for his 10 years of service as a school crossing guard stationed at the Spring Garden / Kingsley intersection, near Bois-de-Liesse School.

Well known to families in the area, Mr. Lavigne is recognized for his punctuality, constant smile, and contagious good mood. Rain or shine, he is always at his post, ensuring the safety of students and pedestrians every day. His dedication makes him a valuable ally in keeping school zones safe in Dollard-des-Ormeaux.

To mark this important milestone, he was presented with an honorary pin in the presence of SPVM officers, road safety agents from Neighbourhood Station 4, Mr. Dany Tremblay, Principal of Bois-de-Liesse School, and a member of his team.

Residents are encouraged to thank Mr. Lavigne when passing by his intersection – his daily commitment truly deserves to be recognized.
