A first Warming Center on the West Island of Montreal

The Warming Centre welcomes people experiencing homelessness and residential instability during the winter season until March 31st, 2021. It allows citizens in need to keep warm during the cold weather.
Located at 5100 Château-Pierrefonds Avenue in Pierrefonds-Roxboro, the West Island Warming Center is opened all days of the week from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. The Center accommodates between 10 and 15 people every night for the four coldest months of winter. It provides five beds, a place to eat, drink, shower, rest and of course warm up. Users also have access to a clothing cleaning service, emergency clothing (coats, scarfs, etc.) and a computer to use the Internet. All are welcome and pets are accepted. In addition, specific rooms for women and young people are offered. Two employees are always on site in order to respond adequately to the targeted population.
