Dog licenses

All dogs in the city must be registered and wear a medallion at all times in accordance with our by-laws. Remember to register your dog every year so that its information is up to date in our records.

To obtain a license, please fill out two copies of the form and mail them along with a cheque for the total amount due. We will then return the requested license(s) to you.

Annual fee:

  • One neutered dog - $15
  • One non-neutered dog - $25
  • Two neutered dogs - $30
  • Two non-neutered dogs - $50

Replacement cost of a lost medallion - $1

Renewal forms were sent to owners who registered their dog(s) in the previous year.

For more information on licenses, please refer to municipal by-law R-2007-032.
