Mayor's message: dedicated phone line for seniors

To the Seniors in our community,

Your City is here to offer you support during this difficult period.

Self isolation is the most effective way to contain the spread of COVID-19, however, it is hard at times.

It is confirmed by health experts throughout the world that individuals aged 65 and over and those with pre-existing health complications are most at risk. Based on this data, the Quebec Government and public health authorities ask that all individuals aged 65 and over, remain in isolation at home to help contain this pandemic.

As your Mayor, I would like to thank all those who have already complied with these directives and strongly urge those who haven’t, to practice social distancing immediately.

Our City has put in place a special line dedicated to the seniors of Dollard-des Ormeaux during this difficult period.

If you are 65 and over and know someone:

  • who lives alone?
  • who feels anxious?
  • who feels isolated?
  • who would appreciate a friendly phone call from the City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux?

Please call 514-684-9391 and leave your name and phone number. Someone from our city will return your call quickly.

I thank you all for your cooperation and encourage you all to stay connected with us.

Your Mayor,

Alex Bottausci
