Street lighting – LED light conversion

A project to improve the energy efficiency of our urban lighting will soon begin in the City. In residential areas, the current high pressure sodium street lights (HPS), will be replaced with light emitting diode lights (LED). This new LED lighting is in keeping with the City’s sustainable development, energy saving, and security at night. The project will start in April and will be completed by the end of September 2019.
