Online Request for Branch Pickup

The City’s branch collection service is offered every year from May 1 to October 31.

COVID-19 - Usually, branch collection takes place, at your request, within five to ten business days, depending on the traffic period. Please note that due to the pandemic situation at covid-19, this timeframe may be longer due to reduced staff at work. Please be assured that your request will be kept on file and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Before making an online request for branch pickup hereafter, you must be cognizant of the following:

  • The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux offers to its residents, a branch collection service for hedge and tree trimming and small bushes free of roots and soil. Only branches trimmed by the residents will be accepted for collection. Trees felled and branches trimmed by a professional tree service will not be collected.
  • If you have a small quantity of branches less than 1.2 m (4 ft.) in length and 25 mm (1 in.) in diameter to be collected, please tie them in bundles and place them curbside; they will be collected with the organic waste pickup.
  • Two collections per year per address are allowed for a total of one hour. Any time exceeding this limit will be charged.
  • All branches put out for collection must be stacked on the grassed area, without encroaching on the sidewalk or the street with the cut section facing the street as shown below.
  • To make sure our employees can work safely in this time of COVID-19, please keep 2 metres of distance with them when they are on your property.

This service is now over for the season
and will restart in May 1, 2020
