For reasons beyond our control, delays are expected in the coming weeks in the collection of household waste and organic materials. Although every effort is being made to hire and train employees working for our service provider (Enviro-Connexions), a shortage of manpower is unfortunately affecting the latter, as well as the industry as a whole.

We are aware of the issue that this will cause and that is why if the collection has not been done on the scheduled day and it is after 6 p.m., we ask that you leave your garbage bags or your brown bin at the curb. The contractor will complete the collection the next morning starting at 7 a.m.

Collection days that are likely to be affected by delays:

  • Monday and Thursday: Garbage collection for schools, daycares, condominiums, apartments.
  • Monday: Organic material collection for single family homes.
  • Tuesday: Garbage collection for single family homes.

This notice remains in effect until further notice.

We thank you for your understanding.
