up to 25 mm (1 in.)\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-252c08d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"252c08d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>Small tree branches are picked up during the <b>organic waste collection<\/b>.<\/li><li>Branches must not exceed 25 mm (1 in.) in diameter and be tied in bunches with string or rope (no plastic or metal ties).<\/li><li>No bunch may exceed 1.2 m (4 ft.) in length and 50 cm (18 in.) in diameter.<\/li><li>Bunched tree branches may be left beside the brown bin for pickup with other organic waste as of 7 p.m. on the evening before collection day.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-96dde79 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"96dde79\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Large diameter branches up to 10 cm (4 in.)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e3e7631 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e3e7631\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>Large quantities of tree branches and large diameter of branches\u00a0<b>up to 10 cm (4 in.) max.<\/b> are picked up by a special branch pickup (online request form at the bottom of this page).<\/li><li>Tree trunks <strong>larger than 10 cm (4 in.) in diameter<\/strong> must be picked up as <strong>special refuse<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/ville.ddo.qc.ca\/en\/collectes-saisonnieres-de-rebuts-speciaux\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here<\/a>).<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2b8bffd elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2b8bffd\" elementor-size-default\">Special branch pickup and conditions<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-af33b4c <\/b>but not for work done by contractors.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-long-arrow-alt-right\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">The service is offered up to a maximum of <b>one hour of work <\/b>or <b>two collections <\/b>annually by Public Works Department employees. <\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-long-arrow-alt-right\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Any additional service will be charged to the resident at an hourly rate set by the City, <b>$176.75<\/b> <b>per additional hour of work<\/b> (2026 rates)<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Large-diameter branch pickup service is offered from <b>May 1 to October 31<\/b>.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-long-arrow-alt-right\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Branches are usually picked up between <b>ten to fifteen working days<\/b>, following the request from a resident to City offices.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-long-arrow-alt-right\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">You can register your request for pickup 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section request, within five business days, depending on the traffic period. Please note that due to the pandemic situation of covid-19, this timeframe may be longer due to reduced staff at work.
