Please refer to our By-law R-2014-05 for additional questions or contact the Engineering Division at 514-684-1033.<\/p>\n<p>If you need to have your water valve closed or opened when planning repairs or renovations, we ask that you call Public Works <b>at least three (3) working days<\/b> before starting the work, to make an appointment, Monday to Friday. This element evaporates rapidly and contributes to good water quality. To remove chlorine odour, simply fill a container with water and place it in the refrigerator.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53593b1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"53593b1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Earthy taste<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-97be4ca elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"97be4ca\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Your water sometimes has an earthy taste. This is due to the presence of algae in the river, mainly in summer, when water temperatures are higher. Although treatment is applied to eliminate algae from drinking water, as well as the associated tastes and odors, an earthy taste may persist for as long as it takes to renew the circulating water. You just need to let the water stand for a few minutes.
