The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux would like to hear from its citizens, and have been conducting a conversation on the subject since 2020.<\/p><p>To adequately fulfill its role, the heart of a city needs to be sufficiently dense and mixed to provide a lively and pleasant environment and to encourage active travel. <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/cB-vc5v1tvk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Regional planning documents<\/a> require cities to provide for a minimum density within proximity of structuring public transit stations such as the REM or a train station.
