Youth Volunteer Fair
The Table de quartier Sud de l’Ouest-de-l’Île (TQSOI) and its partner members of the poverty reduction and social inclusion committee are organizing a fair for youth volunteers. The event aims to inform young people and their parents of organizations open to welcoming and supporting young volunteers aged 12 to 17, which will increase volunteering in this age group.
The event will take place in the banquet hall of the Dollard-des-Ormeaux Civic Center (12001 Salaberry Blvd, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, Quebec H9B 2A7 entrance #5) on April 29th from 10am to 2pm. In the adjacent room there will be workshops on different topics, such as how to prepare your CV or “What would a volunteering day look like in a local organization”. There will also be presentations from other youth on their volunteering experiences in the West Island.
