The city is generously endowed with greenery, thanks to the many parks of various sizes scattered throughout its territory. Less than one kilometer separates each home from one of our parks. Swimming, baseball, softball, soccer, football and many other activities are organized seasonally, and skating rinks are erected in most parks in the winter.

The eleven major parks have pavilions that are available free of charge to City recognized recreation and sports associations, including Dollard-des-Ormeaux Park across from the Civic Centre on De Salaberry Boulevard.

In addition, the City has an agreement with some schools on its territory allowing them to use the neighbouring park for their recreation, physical education classes and other occasional needs. This allows children to play outside and take advantage of the park facilities adjacent to their school. As a result, you will notice higher than normal traffic in specific parks during the school year from September to June on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Please note that Oslo Park adjacent to École Dollard-des-Ormeaux and the adjacent sports facilities at École Des Sources (tennis, basketball, soccer and baseball fields) are reserved exclusively for the use of these schools during the school year. For these two parks, in the event of no sports association reservation, citizens may access them for their personal recreation after hours only.

For security reasons, please note that during the winter period from November to March, the play modules in the parks are closed.
