Holiday Magic at the Civic Centre
Sunday, December 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Civic Centre is about to transform into an enchanted place to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season! Come discover this new event that will quickly become a must for your family.
Various activities that will delight both young and old alike will be offered throughout the Civic Centre by different associations, the library, and the City’s Sports, Recreation, and Culture Department.
– Photo with Santa: Capture a precious moment by posing with Santa Claus in the library’s outdoor garden. Photos will only be available by reservation, so plan your appointment in advance!
– Santa letter-writing workshop: Join a creative workshop at the library. Write your letter to Santa and drop it in the special mailbox headed for the North Pole!
– Christmas movie in the theater: Sit back and enjoy a Christmas classic projected in our theater.
– Public skating: Lace up your skates and enjoy a skating session on our arenas’ smooth ices (fee applies).
– Elsa and Olaf mascots: Meet your favorite characters from “Frozen” and take photos with Elsa and Olaf.
– Themed activities: Enjoy a variety of fun and joyful moments with activities offered by Initiative GoDDO, the Arts Centre and the Seniors’ Club.
In addition to these festivities, the West Island Assistance Fund will be present to collect non-perishable food items. We encourage you to show generosity and contribute to help families in need this holiday season.
