TERMS OF USE OF THE CITY OF DOLLARD-DES-ORMEAUX'S COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD
The Community Board is an initiative of the City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux, aimed at providing visibility to our recognized non-profit associations (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) operating on its territory. It allows these organizations to promote their activities or messages of public interest, such as announcements of large-scale events open to all, announcements of seasonal programming, upcoming registrations, job offers within the organization, volunteer searches, etc. The City hosts this platform on its website, making it accessible to all visitors.
The Community Bulletin Board is administered by the Sports, Recreation and Culture Department (hereinafter referred to as “Administrators”). All postings are written in both languages (French and English) by users and the Administrators reserve the right to not publish a posting for any reason they deem relevant, including, but not limited to, inappropriate or incomprehensible content, defamatory statements, incomplete information or poor quality of French or English, or because only one form has been submitted in one of the two (2) languages. In the event that the administrator does not publish the message, the user will not receive an email informing him/her of the withdrawal of his/her publication. Ads are automatically removed after six (6) months from the date of publication. For any questions from users, contact the Recreation, Sports and Culture Department by email at loisirs@ddo.qc.ca.
Once the publication form has been completed, users should allow up to 10 business days for their ad to be posted on the bulletin board. This time frame is subject to change without notice.
Users cannot attach documents or hyperlinks related to their publication.
Users must ensure that they do not infringe on intellectual property rights, in particular but not limited to copyright. It is the user’s responsibility to obtain the necessary rights in advance to allow publication.
The user assumes full responsibility for the content of his or her publications and is responsible for ensuring that the application is complete and error-free. Although the City hosts this platform, it shall not be held responsible for the form, accuracy and content of the publications written and provided by users, nor for the content of any hyperlinks or documents that may be attached to the user’s publications or the consequences of the user’s failure to have previously obtained the rights related to the intellectual property.
The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the content of these terms of use or to terminate the service offered, at any time and without notice.
