Go DDO Initiative is a program under the governance of the Dollard-des-Ormeaux Aquatic Association (AADDO) that aims to implement activities and programs to improve residents’ lifestyles by promoting a physical activity and healthy eating. The well-established networking with partners in early childhood, school, community, and municipal sectors provides our program with a comprehensive view of the community’s needs and the resources available within the territory of Dollard-des-Ormeaux.

Badminton
Ages 18 to 99
Join us for recreational badminton play at the École Primaire Dollard-des-Ormeaux gymnasium, located at 35 Anselme Lavigne. Our monitor will be there to welcome you and organize the courts.
About Badminton:
Badminton is a fast-paced racket sport played with a shuttlecock that players hit back and forth over a net. It’s known for improving agility, reflexes, and coordination, and is enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, badminton offers a fun, social way to stay active.
Please bring your own racket and shuttlecocks. All skill levels are welcome — this is strictly for fun!
Teen Bootcamp
Location: Civic Centre Dollard-des-Ormeaux, boul. De Salaberry
Physical and cardiovascular training designed to improve fitness, flexibility and stamina. The course will be adapted to the participants level.
Registration is mandatory to participate.

7 Sports
Ages 2 to 6
Why choose just one sport when your child can try seven? This exciting multi-sport program introduces young children to a variety of sports in a playful and supportive environment.
With a focus on confidence-building, discovery, development, and above all, fun, this program helps kids develop physical literacy while exploring different activities each session. Sports offered vary from session to session, keeping things fresh and engaging.
This program is offered every session and is the perfect way to help your little one get moving, try new things, and build lifelong healthy habits!
Dance Fusion
7-12 years old
This class is all about moving, grooving, and dancing to rhythms from across the globe!
Discover the vibrant world of Bollywood, the high energy of Bhangra, and the lively beats of Latin music.
Every class is packed with energy, features easy-to-follow choreography, and offers children a chance to explore and showcase their creativity while discovering new ways to move — no matter their experience!
Music & Mouvement
18-36 months
This class invites little ones to explore movement with the comfort of a parent by their side.Together, you’ll wiggle, jump, and twirl through simple activities designed to spark curiosity and joy. Each session includes a mini obstacle course, swishy scarves, colorful egg shakers, and fun finger-play songs that build early coordination and rhythm.With plenty of together-time and moments of discovery, toddlers grow confidence, coordination, and a joyful love of music and motion.
3-5 years old
This class is designed to help children build confidence as they discover their unique way of moving and expressing themselves. Each session offers opportunities for movement exploration through dynamic obstacle courses, fun-filled games, and imaginative activities. Along the way, children strengthen their balance, coordination, and overall body awareness—while having fun every step of the way.
Pickleball
Ages 18 to 99
Come join us for recreational pickleball play at the École Primaire Dollard-des-Ormeaux gymnasium, located at 35 Anselme Lavigne. Our friendly monitor will be on site to greet participants and organize the courts.
About Pickleball:
Pickleball is a fast-growing paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Played on a smaller court with a lightweight paddle and a perforated plastic ball, pickleball is easy to learn and suitable for all skill levels. It’s a fun, social way to stay active and improve coordination.
Please bring your own racquet and balls. All skill levels are welcome — this is strictly for fun!
Red Cross-Babysitting Course
Ages 11–15
This comprehensive course is designed for youth ages 11 to 15 who are interested in becoming confident, responsible babysitters. Developed by the Canadian Red Cross, the program covers five key areas: child caregiving, first aid, injury prevention, leadership, and basic business skills.
Participants will engage in interactive activities, hands-on practice, and real-life problem-solving scenarios that make learning both fun and practical. Each participant receives a Red Cross Babysitter’s Manual and a certificate upon successful completion of the course.
This course is offered at least once per session.
Red Cross - Stay safe
Ages 9–14
The Stay Safe! program empowers youth ages 9 to 14 with the confidence and skills they need to respond to real-world situations with safety and awareness. Through age-appropriate lessons and realistic scenarios, participants learn how to make smart, confident decisions when faced with challenges—whether at home, in their community, or when unsupervised.
This engaging program reinforces personal safety, teaches practical strategies for handling emergencies, and equips youth with the tools they need to take care of themselves and others in a variety of everyday situations.
Teen action & Youth Action
Fun, Friendship & Confidence—All in One Program
Teen Action is an exciting, program to help promote healthy habits designed for youth ages 11–17 who want to have fun, try new things, and meet new friends. Whether it’s go-karting, paddleboarding, movie nights with pizza, or creative group activities at the aquatic centre, Teen Action offers something for everyone.
Led by enthusiastic team leaders, each session focuses on building confidence, teamwork, and lasting friendships. Our activities change with the seasons, so there’s always something new to experience.

Fit CLub
Get ready to move, learn, and grow with our exciting FIT CLUB program—designed especially for teens! FIT CLUB promotes fitness education and healthy lifestyle habits through a fun, balanced, and supportive training environment. With alternating weeks focused on strength conditioning and overall fitness, participants will build confidence, learn new skills, and discover the lifelong benefits of regular exercise.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up your routine, all fitness levels are welcome!

Tennis
In partnership with GoDDO, Académie de tennis Farhad Zangana (ATFZ) offers outdoor tennis lessons from April until October. Lessons are given in either a recreational or a competitive framework and are offered to different age groups with a schedule that varies weekly.
