Public transportation
The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux is serviced by an efficient public transportation system designed to meet the needs of citizens who travel to work or school.
The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) provides bus service on many of the City’s main arteries, with links to two suburban trains (Pierrefonds-Roxboro and Sunnybrooke), the Dollard des Ormeaux’s Civic Centre and Fairview shopping centre. Three express buses in the City take about 35 minutes to reach metro stations: the 409 Express Des Sources to Du Collège metro, the 470 Express Pierrefonds to Côte-Vertu metro and the NEW 475 Express Dollard des Ormeaux to the Côte-Vertu metro.
Dollard-des-Ormeaux commuters heading downtown can use the Deux-Montagnes/Montréal train line, located east of Gouin Boulevard, near des Sources Boulevard or the Pierrefonds-Roxboro and Sunnybrooke trains which can be reached by bus. Public parking and spaces for bicycles are available free of charge for train commuters.
