Citizen participation is essential to the revision of our Urban Planning Programme. To ensure that the voices and visions of our residents are heard, the City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux is organizing two thematic workshops (bilingual) on October 11th and November 8th.
During these workshops, residents will have the opportunity to meet around discussion tables to exchange views on the issues they are experiencing in their areas, and together find possible solutions and innovative ideas to develop the City of tomorrow.
The workshop on October 11th will focus on traffic and mobility in the city, while the workshop on November 8th will look at the future and development of our urban boulevards (Saint-Jean, Des Sources, etc.). Municipal and external professionals will animate the evening and accompany citizens during these workshops.

These activities complement the informative sessions held on August 30th and September 20th, where the City presented the participatory process and the activities planned for the fall as part of the revision of its Urban Planning Programme, and where experts discussed the development challenges of a Montreal suburb in transformation, with an emphasis on the themes of healthy lifestyle, local economy, housing needs and various urban projects.
