Regular and special collections

Twice a year (in the spring and fall), the City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux organizes a free collection service for household hazardous waste (HHW), electronic waste, Styrofoam as well as the shredding of confidential documents.

The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux offers its residents a permanent drop-off location for electronic waste, located at 100 Glenmore and open 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

A cash subsidy is available to homeowners who wish to treat an ash tree with TreeAzin, remove an ash tree and replace it on their residential property.

In collaboration with the non-profit organization GRAME, the City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux is proud to offer a grant to any homeowner who wishes to have a tree planted on their property. Owners of a single-family residence or a residential complex of eight (8) units or less can purchase different species of trees for only $25, including planting.

In collaboration with the non-profit organization GRAME, the City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux is proud to offer you the opportunity to plant a tree  free of charge on the municipal right-of-way of your property. The city takes full responsibility for the maintenance of this tree.

In an effort to improve air quality and reduce health risks and damages to property due to air pollution from wood-burning appliances. This program is designed to encourage the replacement of wood-burning appliances with gas (propane or other) or electric appliances.
