A QUALITY LIBRARY FOR OUR CITIZENS!

The Dollard-des-Ormeaux Public Library has been awarded a “ruban 5” in the 2024 edition of the BiblioQUALITÉ program. The library scored 90%, reflecting the excellence of the municipality’s investment in its library service.

The BiblioQUALITÉ program provides a better understanding of the state of investment in libraries by member municipalities of the Association des bibliothèques publiques du Québec (ABPQ). Across the province, each library was evaluated according to five neutral indicators, which apply equally to all libraries: acquisitions spending, opening hours, adequate floor space, human resources and seating capacity.
