The STM connects to the REM

Share

With the upcoming opening of the REM’s Anse-à-l’Orme branch, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is adjusting its bus network to connect with REM stations. These changes are intended to make transfers easier and improve travel flow for transit users.

What this means for Dollard-des-Ormeaux

For Dollard-des-Ormeaux residents, these changes will mainly include:

  • more frequent bus service on Saint-Jean and Sources Boulevards;
  • the relocation or removal of only two bus stops.

These adjustments aim to provide service that is better aligned with the new REM connections, while minimizing impacts on residents’ travel habits.

Plan your future trip

Residents are invited to preview their future route now using the STM trip planner, available at stm.info.

Public information session on March 19

To inform residents and answer questions, a public information session will be held at the Dollard-des-Ormeaux Civic Centre on March 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Interested residents are encouraged to attend to learn more about the upcoming changes and new transportation options available.
