With the holiday season approaching, we are pleased to offer a magical parade on Sunday, December 5th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine.
Beginning at 10 a.m., Magical Floats will ride through the city and will be accompanied by colorful characters. Elves will be part of the parade and will pick up the children’s greeting letters addressed to Santa Claus. Now is the time to invite your children to write a letter. Santa is looking forward to hearing from them.

- No stamp required. Don’t forget to write a return address to receive a response.
At the same time, we will be collecting non-perishable food items for a charity; that is, the West Island Assistance Fund. We invite you to participate generously, many people in our community are currently in need.
For everyone’s safety, please apply the following instructions during the event:
- Respect social distancing of 1 metre per family.
- Please wait patiently for your turn for the handing over of food and letters to Santa Claus.
- No stops, constant circulation of the floats.

IMPORTANT: Departure is at 10 am. However, the times indicated on the map for the route are approximate. The speed of the parade may vary somewhat, which could cause a few minutes of advance or delay at the different points indicated on the map.
Departure from Civic Center parking lot 3 at 10:00 a.m.
Cross Sources Blvd. and continue to Lake and then turn right on Lake
Cross St. Jean Blvd. and continue to Westminster Street, then turn left on Huron
And return to parking lot 3 from Lake.
