Waste reduction
In the interest of sustainable development, the City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux aims to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills. This is why we encourage our residents to sort recyclable and compostable materials, and to consider reducing waste at the source by avoiding single-use plastics and excessive packaging.

- Waste must be placed in a closed, leak-proof container (metal or plastic) with a maximum capacity of 123 liters OR in a tied, non-perforated plastic bag (maximum size 66.04 cm x 91.44 cm, 26 in. x 36 in.). Maximum weight of the container or bag: 25 kg.
