  • Enjoy your pool in private! – Regulations under way
Share

The municipal by-laws stipulate that residential swimming pools are for the exclusive use of the family living on the property and their guests.

It is therefore prohibited to rent out your pool for commercial purposes, whether it be via collaborative consumption platforms or other means. This practice is illegal in residential zones, according to the zoning by-law and the by-law concerning swimming pools.

In the event of non-compliance with municipal regulations, the property owner will be held responsible and may be subject to fines ranging from $500 to $4,000 for repeated offences.

For moments of fun in complete safety, the municipal swimming pools remain available to our residents. We’re counting on your cooperation to ensure everyone’s well-being.
