Dollard-des-Ormeaux unveils three videos on environmental subsidy programs available to its residents

As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental protection, the City is proud to announce the launch of three informative videos designed to promote greater citizen participation in its available environmental subsidy programs. The videos highlight key initiatives such as:

Grants available for tree-planting projects, highlighting the importance of urban revegetation in the fight against climate change; Financial assistance for the installation of electric charging stations, encouraging the transition to less polluting mobility; The program to replace wood-burning fireplaces with gas or electric appliances, improving air quality. In addition to these grants, the City’s initiatives in the collection of household hazardous waste, no. 6 plastic and electronic devices, demonstrating the collective effort required to reduce our environmental footprint, are highlighted.

“These videos are a valuable tool for our residents, presenting them with an overview of the support available for environmental initiatives. We believe that education and information are key to understanding environmental issues and taking action for our common future.”, said Mayor Alex Bottausci.

The videos are now available here, as well as on its social media platforms. We invite all residents to view them, learn about the programs offered and take an active part in preserving our environment.
