As part of National Public Works Week, the City invites you to take a behind-the-scenes look at its operations during an open house on Sunday, May 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Come celebrate with us and dive into the fascinating world of public works! A host of activities awaits you: booths, impressive demonstrations, and surprising discoveries for the whole family.
This is the perfect opportunity to get an up-close look at what keeps your city running every day: demonstrations of the water system, water meters, electric trucks, snowplows, and much more. While you’re there, you can meet the teams, ask questions, and learn about their expertise.
The kids will be thrilled! Inflatable games, a sandbox, accessible trucks, and a variety of activities await them for an experience that’s as fun as it is memorable.
Rain or shine, the activities will go on—so there’s no reason to miss this celebration!
Free and open to everyone, this event is the perfect way to enjoy a festive family outing, learn while having fun, and experience the world of public works like never before.
We look forwards to welcoming a large number of you to our very first open house!
Event location: 100 Glenmore street (Public Works)
