New: Lugiglace available during our public skating

Share

With our mission to bring inclusivity to our recreational activities in the city of Dollard-Des-Ormeaux, we are happy to introduce our new Lugiglace to our arenas. The Lugiglace is a support device for wheelchairs, allowing people in wheelchairs the possibility to skate on the ice with the help of an attendant. The Lugiglace is adaptable to most sizes of wheelchairs and easy to use.

It provides an inclusive skating rink experience, to glide across the ice and is designed for accessibility. The participant must be accompanied by a skater to be able to glide around.

Whether you’re a child or adult, these chairs are here to make the rink a place for everyone. Join the skating sensation with our inclusive Lugiglace and skate into a world of accessibility, because everyone deserves to feel the chill and thrill of the rink.

Visit our website to obtain the public skating schedule. If you wish to reserve in advance, please send your request to the sport and recreation department at loisirs@ddo.qc.ca
