Join the MADA Fundraising Campaign: Be the Change Our Community Needs
Rising costs aren’t just numbers—they affect our neighbors, friends, and maybe even someone you love. Together, we can make sure no family goes hungry and everyone faces tomorrow with dignity and hope. This isn’t someone else’s problem; it’s ours. Let’s show the power of a caring community.
How You Can Make a Difference
1. Donate:
Your generosity will provide food, essentials, and care to families struggling the most. Every dollar counts. Due to the Canada Post disruption, mail donations aren’t possible, but you can still help:
E-transfer: mada@madacentre.com
Donate online: www.madacentre.com/share
Drop off donations: Decarie Square or Cavendish Mall (Dec 1–5, 10 AM–6 PM)
2. Lead a Team of Generosity:
Go beyond giving—be a leader! Rally your friends, family, and colleagues to join this critical effort. With personalized fundraising pages, simple outreach tools, and inspiring stories, you’ll show the real impact of kindness.
Visit madacentre.com/share to get started.

Buy your produce at Dollard-des-Ormeaux’s Solidarity Market!
Everyone is welcome to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables at the DDO Market! Located in Westwood Park’s Fabre Street parking lot, it’s open every Tuesday until October 15, 2024, from 3 to 6 pm.
Our social payment model makes this market accessible to all. You can pay the solidarity price, which is the listed price, or “pay what you can”, which allows market participants to pay a fairer price based on their own financial situation. And if you are able to, you can “pay it forward” by paying more than the advertised price for your produce. This “extra” will then be used to help your fellow West Islanders who are more vulnerable. We also accept the Carte proximité at all our markets.
See you at the market!
