The City invites residents who are passionate about urban planning and eager to play an active role in land use planning to apply for a seat on the Planning Advisory Committee (PAC).
In accordance with the Act Respecting Land Use and Development, the PAC is tasked with providing opinions and recommendations on matters submitted to the Municipal Council regarding urban planning and land development.
Who can apply?
PAC members are selected based on their interest in urban planning issues. Among the Committee members, three must have training and expertise in areas such as urban planning, construction management, development, architecture and heritage.
Duration:
The mandate is for a maximum of 24 months, with the possibility of renewal. Members agree to attend at least one meeting per month, in the late afternoon.

Interested residents are invited to submit an application package by email to candidatccu@ddo.qc.ca, which includes:
- A letter of interest
- A curriculum vitae
- Relevant documents related to experience and skills in urban planning, development, architecture or heritage.
Applications must be received by January 30, 2026. Only selected candidates will be contacted.
