After better identifying the needs and aspirations of its citizens, the City has defined preliminary orientations that take into account the suggestions received by residents during the participatory process of Fall 2023 in its future Urban Planning Programme.

To render the information concerning these orientations accessible, our municipal professionals have created two information-packed video capsules, enabling all our citizens to familiarize themselves with the characteristics of our territory and population, as well as the sectors targeted by potential transformation into mixed-use environments.

We invite you to consult them by clicking on the following links:

  1. The Revision of the Urban Planning Programme: Context (part 1) (youtube.com)
  2. The Revision of the Urban Planning Programme: Preliminary Proposals (part 2) (youtube.com)

There is more: we are continuing our participative approach by inviting you to attend a two-day Open House at the Civic Centre (entrance 4), where you will have the opportunity to find out more about the revision of the Urban Planning Programme.

Thursday April 4, 5 – 8 pm

Saturday April 6, 2 – 6 pm

Civic Centre, entrance #4 (in front of the library’s entrance)

Members of the City’s Urban Planning and Engineering Department team will be on hand to present a proposal for the development strategy that the City wishes to introduce and to answer your questions.

Please expect the parking lot of the Civic Centre to be busy on April 6.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact us by e-mail consultation@ddo.qc.ca or by phone 514 684-1012 ext. 2400. A survey is also available from April 4 to April 15 to gather your feedback.
