The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux is pleased to announce the signing of a new collective agreement with the Syndicat des cols bleus regroupés de Montréal (SCFP, Local 301). This agreement will be in effect from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2029.

Negotiations were conducted in a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect, marked by constructive, open, and transparent discussions. This agreement reflects an excellent working relationship between the City and its employees, built on dialogue and the pursuit of sustainable solutions.

The City sincerely thanks its blue-collar employees for their commitment, professionalism, and essential contribution to the quality of life of its residents. Through this agreement, the City strengthens its ability to deliver municipal services that are efficient, people-centred, and sustainable, for the benefit of the entire community.

“Our blue-collar employees play an essential role in the daily lives and quality of life of our residents. This collective agreement recognizes their commitment and professionalism, while allowing us to continue providing municipal services that are efficient, people-centred, and sustainable,” stated Mayor Alex Bottausci.

One of the key elements of this agreement is the reorganization of work schedules within the Public Works Department, allowing for increased coverage during both weekdays and weekends. This measure will directly improve services to residents, particularly during periods of heightened operational demand.

It should be noted that the tentative agreement was approved by union members on December 1, 2025, and subsequently ratified by City Council on December 9, 2025. The official signing of the collective agreement took place on Friday, January 30, 2026.
