The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux is launching a new participatory process to reflect on the future of the Marché de l’Ouest. A call for applications is now underway to select the five residents interested in serving as members of the working group on the Marché de l’Ouest.
This initiative includes the creation of a working group bringing together residents of Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Market merchants, site owners, as well as City representatives. Inclusive and dialogue-based, it aims to foster a shared understanding and collectively guide the future of the Marché, while recognizing its importance to the community.
To moderate discussions and ensure an impartial and objective process, the working group will be facilitated by an independent facilitator. The recommendations made by the working group will be submitted to City Council, and the conclusions will be presented to the public.
