Re-Imagine, Dream and Plan our City Together!
Together we can help improve the quality of urban transformation projects taking place near our neighbourhoods. The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux would like to hear from its citizens, and have been conducting a conversation on the subject since 2020.
To adequately fulfill its role, the heart of a city needs to be sufficiently dense and mixed to provide a lively and pleasant environment and to encourage active travel. Regional planning documents require cities to provide for a minimum density within proximity of structuring public transit stations such as the REM or a train station. Proximity to these REM stations, commonly known as TOD areas, represents a sustainable choice to accommodate projected population growth.
